An alternate theory for Ganondorf being the sole male every 100 years: It's entirely possible (though I never expect this to ever be confirmed if it is true) that he's intersex. It is biologically possible for someone with male parts to have XX chromosomes, because biology is weird like that. It's extremely rare, but that would check with the whole one-born-every-100-years thing. It would also be really interesting if the Gerudo people didn't abide by human standards of sex and gender and had their own system for determining these things.

No. For some reason those don't feel right. What if SOMEBODY ELSE killed Iji. Think about it. Iji was being protected by the Blacknife. However, being the first line of defense, the 3 blacknife were slain. Then Iji was slain afterwards. Someone knew about Iji's moves in the world or had a vendetta. Since Iji is Iji, he has to be aware of this, which is why when you knew something was going to happen after he heard about Blaidd. Maybe... just maybe..

There's some debate on Samus' and the Federation's relationship and differences of opinions regarding Metroids going on in the comments, so I'll just share my take, based on the lore tidbits I know. Samus was ordered by the Federation to exterminate all Metroids after Zero Mission and the Prime games due to their repeated use as devastating bioweapons, mostly by Space Pirate hands. So she did. But she spared one final baby Metroid, on the surface because it could serve as an invaluable research subject (which made her hand it over to the Federation for that purpose), but underneath mostly because she could not bring herself to kill a yet innocent baby, no matter its species, that saw her as its mother. Samus handing over the Metroid did not change, however, her stance on Metroids being too dangerous to be allowed to continue existing outside of singular specimens for research purposes. I believe that she holds that opinion in the first place because, as we saw in Fusion, she is not opposed to going against her orders in order to do what she thinks is right, and she would not have agreed to exterminate the Metroids and yet let one live if she was opposed to either. Skip to Fusion. The "last" Metroid, the baby (highly polarising word in this fanbase, I know), was killed and she was infused with its DNA. But now she finds that a faction within the Federation has bred Metroids back up into a significant threat, clearly going against their mere usage as research specimens and extending into using them as bioweapons, which is what the Federation had initially villainised the Space Pirates for doing and which Samus herself is the very symbol of opposition for. She is of course outraged and goes, as previously mentioned she would do, against her orders by destroying them and taking out the X in the process. The Federation, in turn, is initially shocked at her opposition, but retroactively permits her actions as the extenuating circumstances become clear. Whether or not the rogue faction in the federation has been penalised for the actions or not has never been mentioned, but I'd like to believe that, due to Samus apparently unstrained relation with the galactic feds in Dread, they are at least under scrutiny, with the benefit of the doubt being given to Samus.

Here's an alternate theory for how a Metroid reached the phazon core: The original inhabitants of Tallon IV were Chozo. Yes, ones that separated from their kind off-world, but Chozo nonetheless. And it is well documented that the Chozo were overconfident in their ability to control the Metroid. It stands to reason then that the Chozo on Tallon IV, upon being confronted with a poisonous energy spreading through their planet, would send a Metroid into the core in order to combat this energy. They could either have been originally part of the Chozo on Zebes beveloping Metroids, or they could have reached out to them for help. But timeline wise and in regards to the origin of the species of Metroids, this is one of the few theories that actually makes sense to me.

My question is: Is our character really a Tarnished? The intro says: 'Arise Tarnished ... and one another.' The Tarnished lie in a massgrave, but the character is alone at his/her resurrection. In the back you hear a bell. And the only times you hear bells in the game is when you summon an ash or when you hear a mausoleum. So, can it be that our character is not a Tarnished, but a demigod. One of Marikas unwanted children?

It almost seems like this is going to be an alternate timeline of A Link To The Past where after Link defeats Ganon he instead gets captured in the dark realm and then Zelda has to save him. That’s why there’s so much similarities to A Link To The Past. That’s my take on some of this crap.

The golden glowing rocks are probably fast travel points. You can see one by the cave in the water of the title screen with Zelda on the cliff’s edge but it’s not glowing. Likely because she hasn’t gotten there and activated it yet.
